Day by day itinerary

DAY 1 Bucuresti - Bratca
Arrive to Bucharest. Drive from Bucharest to rafting area. Accommodate in tents right next to the river, in a wild area.

DAY 2 Rafting
Taking the boats and going down the river, all day program. Accommodate in tents right next to the river, in a wild area.
Optional: visit a cave; try a canyoning tour on some interesting narrow valleys with many small waterfalls; try a few easy or medium climbing walls.

DAY 3 Rafting
Take the boats and go down the river, all day program. Accommodate in tents right next to the river, in a wild area.
Optional: visit a cave; try a canyoning tour up some interesting narrow valleys with many small waterfalls; try a few easy or medium climbing walls.

DAY 4 Bratca - Cluj Napoca - Turda - Turzii Gorge - Rimetea - Coltesti
After breakfast you will drive to Cluj Napoca, the so said capital of Transylvania, where you can take a look around in the medieval centre of the city. From Cluj you will drive to Turda where you will have a special lunch (on the house from Transylvania Live) in the Hunter Prince Restaurant, the Vampire’s masculinity menu. From Turda you will go to the famous Turzii Gorge, a true climbing paradise, with huge walls and very wild scenery. From Turda Gorge you will drive to the beautiful Rimetea area, where you will make a short hiking out of the village to a place where you can put your tents right next to the forest.

DAY 5 Coltesti - Salciua (hiking)
After breakfast, you will start walking up to Bedeleu plateau, cross the plateau arrive to Sipote waterfalls. Lunch on the way, sandwiches. Arrive to the Sipote waterfalls camp in the wild.

DAY 6 Salciua - Huda lui Papara - Ramet Gorge
From the Sipote waterfalls you will go down to the Huda lui Papara cave. Start going towards Ramet Gorge, cross a few beautiful sights a little village with a few remote houses. In the evening camp in the wild right next to the Ramet gorge.
Optional: visit Huda lui Papara cave.

DAY 7 Ramet Gorge - Sibiu - Ramnicu Valcea - Bucuresti
Drive from Ramet Gorge to Bucharest, stop for lunch in Sibiu – Cultural Capital of Europe 2007. Accommodate in a 2* Hotel.

DAY 8 Bucuresti
Visiting the Capital of Romania. Accommodate in 2* Hotel.

DAY 9 Bucuresti - Departure
Departure.

Special notes & info:

The itinerary is flexible and could be changed due to bad weather conditions, fitness and other local conditions. In case of accident, the rescue team from Salvamont will transport the injury person to the nearest car accessible location to be peaked by the Emergency Service.
