Day by day itinerary:

DAY 1, November 22 , Chiang Mai
Arrival in Chiang Mai and transfer to hotel. Briefing Meeting and introduction to the country by local guides. Motorcycle distribution, documentation and adjustments. Free day to visit Chiang Mai. This day we will enjoy a visit to the tigers school.
Other optional activities . Welcome dinner at a downtown restaurant. Overnight at the Hotel.

DAY 2, November 23 , Chiang Mai – Doi Inthanon – Mae Hong Son, 265 km (6h30)
After breakfast we leave Chiang Mai south on the main road. We climbe to the top of the highest mountain in Thailand - Doi Inthanon, stopping at the cascade of Vachiratharn. Descend to the south of the mountain through a secondary route with little traffic and winding roads. Hidden from the main roads we enter a region little visited, with some very picturesque valleys and ride up Khuam Yuam. From here to our destination, Mae Hong Son, there are only 100 kms of road in good condition. We are in the “Loop of the 1,800 curves ” and in this section will not overcome the average of 60 kms per hour. By late afternoon we reached Mae Hong Son. Accommodation.



DAY 3, November 24, Mae Hong Son – Pai, 180km (4h30).
After breakfast departure to visit Nai Soi Tribe of Thailand’s most famous women, known as long neck or giraffe women.We continue north to the Burmese border. The road is surrounded by bamboo forests and waterfalls. Visit the Chinese community settlement installed for centuries at the edge of the border. Small section on track to reach the border. Um Pang Food is the “Switzerland ” of the area where we can swim in a natural lake. After lunch we begin the most difficult stretch of the Loop. There are so many curves that some bikers might get dizzy on the motorbike! Arriving in Pai in the afternoon where we accommodate in a Bungalos Resort, first class. Pai is known as the backpacker town of the region, with relaxed atmosphere. Upon arrival you can opt for a massage, swim in the resort pool or have a drink at any of the many lively bars in town.

DAY 4, November 25, Pai – Doi Angkang – Mae Salong, 340 km (6h30).
Breakfast. This is possibly the most famous part of the Mae Hong Son Loop. 1095 road has 762 curves!
We will ride the Loop and head northward path of Chiang Dao. The land and the cart change when entering the Karst region, made of limestone formations and mountains. We climb Doi Angkang steeper road across the country and visit the botanical garden belonging to Royal Angkhang Forestry Project. Ride through Thaton on the river after visiting the temple mountain village. We ride up to the temple on Santi Kiri road, incredible slopes where the scenery is breathtaking. There are different types of tea plantation in the area. Mae Salong has a significant Chinese community which makes your environment different from other cities in a way that you could be inclined to believe that you are actually in China. Accommodation in the hotel.

DAY 5, November 26 , Mae Salong – Mae Sai – Chiang Khongm, 180 km (5h)
Breakfast. Today we ride the famous or ” infamous”Golden Triangle area and leave behind the tea fields of Mae Salong, driving on back roads to get to the town of Mae Sai, bordering Burma. We walk to the Burmese side to see the local flea market. Back to our bikes and ride the road parallel to the Mekong River to Chiang Saen. Here we cross the river by boat to ”no man’s land" passing by Laos. Arrival in Chiang Khong Mekong following the course of the evening . Overnight at our hotel overlooking the Mekong river.



DAY 6, November 27, Chiang Khong – Chiang Rai, 220 km (6 h)
Breakfast. We begin our south descent following the road along the border with Laos. It is a very little frequented by tourists with stunning views of the river Mekomg. Evening arrival at Chiang Rai – the second largest city in northern Thailand offering lively, excellent restaurants and a picturesque market in the city center. Free time to enjoy a visit of the city. Dinner at local market. Accommodation.

DAY 7, November 28, Chiang Rai – Chiang Mai, 240 km (6 h)
Breakfast. It is the last ridind day, and we expect some amazing roads. 15 kms from Chiang Rai we stop to visit the famous white temple of WatRongKhun. We continue southward turning aside from the main via Phrao Mountain, landscapes and winding roads. Our last kilometers we make are along the main road to take us to Chiang Mai. Arrival in the evening to Doi Suthep to see the sunset with the bestviews of the city. Overnight at the hotel the first day. End bike ride and dinner.


DAY 8, November 29 , Chiang Mai
After breakfast be prepared to be transfered to Chiang Mai Airport. Say Good Bye to Thailand and take your flight back home.
